Introduction The soil of Gujarat has always been very rich for its cultural heritage. It has produced many artists, poets, dancers, musicians, singers and dramatists, who have been the inspiration of new generation. In spite, most of the young talents often remain un-recognized and unknown in absence of a organized cultural platform. Suramya' is the alternate meaning of Indian culture since 1992 with the aim to promote, Exchange and Preserve the traditional folk culture of India. Dance Drama, Music and Children Theatre with varied performing art forms. “2001 to 2010 International decade for the culture of peace and non-violence towards the children of the world” Suramya had opportunity to conduct performing arts workshops at Surat, Delhi, Bombay and Baroda, where young people are trained in various cultural disciplines. Folk dance-workshops are regularly organized in tribal areas.Diploma courses in acting, Music and Dance were organised by Suramya in collaboration with various schools/colleges in Gujarat. This academy was set-up in 1992 on the World Theater Day. Excellence is not only the destination for Suramya , but also its ambition and goal is to create awareness among millennium youth to keep and sustain India's cultural values, heritage and traditions alive. The cultural awareness march is on! Suramya having recognition from International Organization For Folk Arts - Austria (UNESCO) The children of the world get together in International Children Festivals every year in the various part of the world festivals since last three decades and more .The main aim of such festivals is to bring LEADERS of tomorrow on common platform to promote love and understanding. Keep them away from hatred and violence. Invite them to be architect of Beautiful world of tomorrow. The Turkish Radio and Television TRT International children festival has contributory chapters in bringing children of the world together by organizing International Children Festivals 28 times so far. Many European, Asian countries with North America continued with same ideals and zeal for organizing festivals. We have decided to join the march towards non-violence and peace. The Suramya has contributory cultural chapters through culturally motivated youth by participating world festivals at large.
